John And Vidya Together Again:
Is the newly single John Abraham interested in Vidya Balan these days?
The hottest buzz doing the rounds in Bollywood right now is that John wants Vidya as his heroine in the upcoming film Shootout At Wadala, which the actor has co- produced along with filmmaker Sanjay Gupta. There is nothing wrong with the hero demanding a heroine of his choice, except that John and Vidya were reportedly on no- talking terms for a while now and till not long ago.
The two stars first came together when they co- starred in the 2007 dud, Salaame- Ishq . The gossip glossies were soon working overtime in suggesting that John and Vidya were having a fling on the sets of the film, although he was officially Bipasha Basu’s boyfriend at that point of time.
Rumours also suggest that Vidya and John’s passionate lovemaking scenes in Salaam- e- Ishq angered Bipasha. And with the grapevine indicating that John and Vidya were behaving like more than just friends, Bipasha is said to have warned her then boyfriend to stay away from his co- star.
Vidya and John subsequently avoided working with each other or interacting even at public events. Post his split with Bipasha earlier this year, now that John is single and ready to mingle, the actor it seems is more than interested in Vidya.
Sanjay made an official announcement of his film recently but his search for the leading lady is still on. After approaching various big names, he has taken seriously John’s suggestion to cast Vidya in the role. Sanjay feels that Vidya will do justice to the character in question, a source has said.
Although no one is willing to confirm the report, it is said Sanjay recently met Vidya and narrated the script to her. Vidya on her part has just wrapped up the shoot of her next release, Milan Luthria’s The Dirty Picture . Her only film in hand is Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahani , for which she recently finished a shooting schedule in Kolkata.
