Nobody Thought Bipasha Was So pretty:
Given her svelte frame and bold image, Bipasha Basu is surely a head-turner, but she says in her younger days, she wasn’t considered pretty due to her dusky complexion.

“I was never meant to be beautiful. I was a short, dark and round girl. Nobody thought I was pretty at all. Cruel jokes have been made about it. I think most people were surprised by the way I looked,” Bipasha said on an upcoming episode of Big CBS Love’s “India’s Glam Diva”.

The show brings together women from the entertainment and sports industry to compete as India’s final choice of the most glamorous diva. Those in the competition include Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Sunidhi Chauhan, Ekta Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sania Mirza, Freida Pinto, Shruti Haasan and Bipasha.

The 33-year-old actually wanted to be a doctor, but gave up the plan after she fainted while attempting to dissect rats. She went on to be a successful model, and entered filmdom in 2001 with “Ajnabee”.

She was recently seen in “Players”, and romantic comedy “Jodi Breakers”.
