Sharpie Lamborghini Gallardo:
The car was actually done in sharpie markers on the paint and then finished with a clear coat for protection. It took about 2 weeks total. Prestige (Lamborghini Miami) definitely shocked a lot of people when this car was first seen in California during the Concorso Italiano/Pebble Beach week. It attracted attention good, and apparently bad as well, everywhere it went.

Japanese artist Takanori Aiba creates fantastically detailed tiny tree houses atop bonsai trees. Using copper line, epoxy putty, plastic, resin and stone clay, he fashions detailed buildings, bridges, balconies and towers. Takanori Aiba was born in 1953 in Yokohama, Japan. He built his first career as a freelance maze illustrator working for the Japanese fashion magazine POPYE. After a decade he founded his own company,”Graphics and Designing Inc.” in 1981. Since 2003, he has been putting his mind to the creation of three dimensional art works which combines his knowledge and experience of both maze illustrator and architect.

Paint Disturbed By Sound – Martin Klimas:
German photographer Martin Klimas photographs sound using paint. He starts by putting different colored paint on top of some translucent material, underneath which is a speaker. When he cranks up the volume, the carefully selected mixtures of paint explode from the surface shooting into the air, intermixing to creating beautiful patterns. Klimas photographs these motion and each photo becomes an analogue representation of the music.

Artist Simon Beck creates amazing pieces of snow art by walking in the snow wearing raquettes (snowshoes). Each artwork is typically the size of three soccer fields and takes 2 days to complete. The Oxford-educated self-employed map maker typically walks for about 5 to 9 hours or until he gets too tired, using a headlamp if it gets dark first.

Russian street artist Nikita Nomerz makes derelict structures come alive by adding eyes and facial features. Nikita Nomerz’s work ranges from water towers painted to look like they’re laughing to dilapidated buildings with broken window frames for eyes. Nomerz, from the western Russian city of Nizhniy Novgorod, travels around various cities in his homeland to carry out his art.

Like paper, a new medium beloved by some fashion designers. We have featured some mind-blowing dresses made of paper, newspaper , toilet paper. And today, we will present you another set of paper dresses, created by Matthew Brodie for the March 2011 issue of Madame Magazine. With some A3 sheets and a lot of perseverance, Matthew and his team including a former pattern cutter and designer for John Galliano create five complete dresses.
