The extra motivation of winning and the search in some areas bring extraordinary progress that would take decades to be reached if the war effort had not happened. The World War II was not an exception. Some of the most notorious progresses began with the German search during this conflict, as, for instance, Russian and American space project in the ’60s.

The work consists of a set of digital pictures that try to represent a series of biblical episodes just as they would be seen through a satellite, such as with Google Earth. They say love knows no boundaries, but this is taking it a little too far. A Vietnamese man has been sleeping next to his wife’s corpse for the last five years.
Le Van, a 55-year-old man from Quang Nam province, Vietnam, lost his wife in 2003. Because he couldn’t go to sleep at night without hugging his beloved spouse, he slept on top of her grave for about 20 months. When he couldn’t stand the rain and wind anymore, he decided to dig a tunnel into the grave, so he could sleep with his wife.
